April of 2025 was another interesting month for Aeroclassics. There were nine models featured this month, and all of them were true classics. There were three different casting used, and the 727-200 tooling received a slight upgrade. I selected four models from this month's batch. I chose the Trans Brazil 767s, the American A300, and the Air Jamaica 727-2. There were notable pros and cons to each of these models. For a closer look at this month's additions, read on.

Aeroclassics has had great momentum lately that goes back to November of 2024. I've been compelled to take a chance on at least 3-4 models per month from the unique model company. March of 2025 was no different, I've picked up four of the eight offerings, and I have another tag along scheduled to arrive in the coming days with April's allotment. Aeroclassics continues to offer interesting liveries on several unique castings. For a closer look at the models from March, read on...

New Arrival: February '25 Aeroclassics

It's always an exciting time when new 1/400 scale model airplanes arrive. Like crisp, freshly printed dollar bills, each of these new models add depth to the collection, and tell some very interesting and historical tales. This month, four models made the cut, and each one is very good. There are a few QC issues, but discussing those is for another time. Only North American, and South American representatives this month, for more, read on...

New Arrival: January '25 Aeroclassics

After the final set of Aeroclassics in 2024, it was hard to imagine a January '25 set that would rival it. While in my opinion the December set was overall better, the group from January was a real treat. The highlights for me were the Servivensa, and Varig 727s. I've been collecting since 2009, but I had not cared much for classics until about 2018. That means I've missed out on many fine models, but this new bunch have helped to fill in some gaps, for a quick glance at what came in, read on...

As explained in the 1/400 News and Release area of the site, April's releases were about two weeks behind schedule this month. So it's just barely by the end of April that four examples I've selected have arrived.

This month I elected tp pick up the two VASP 727s, the Air Canada 727, and the Iberia Caravelle. Sadly, there are frustrations with all  four models. For a run down, read on...

Aeroclassics February 2021 Arrivals

I've been quite high on Aeroclassics lately. They have really been on a roll and it's clear by how scarce some of the recent releases are that AC continues to show an impressive acuity for finding the right airline/airplane/paint scheme combos that collectors want.

Getting too optimistic and pragmatic on any one brand these days though seems to offer some pit falls. With quality a continuing issue in a landscape of increasing prices there's always the chance of disappointment and sadly, that's where I've landed with Aeroclassics this month.

Right on time. The first arrivals of 2021 join my collection. I selected three models from the January offerings and I have a few initial thoughts on each one. Were you able to secure any of the models from January 2021?

To hear more of my thoughts on a select few of the models this month, keep reading.

Air Seychelles A300 by Aeroclassics

After a long hiatus, and another gap between postings, I'm happy to have finished another 1/400 review. I've thoroughly enjoyed looking into this old A300, the 78 one built by Airbus. This aircraft spent the good majority of it's career with Air France and then was converted to a freighter serving with several companies. It tragically was lost in a crash in 2007 but will not be soon forgotten as perhaps it's best days were served flying in and out of arguably one of the most beautiful places on earth, the Seychelles.
