Aeroclassics has been on a roll recently, and this month was no different. Some hard decisions had to be made. Turning my back on some really nice models to settle on this bunch was good fun however. The highlight for is certainly the Delta DC-10. This is such a reliable casting, and I like the Delta widget livery. The Hawaiian, and the Ecuadorian, TAME add some great color, and the LAB is a nice, very unique livery/airline/airplane combination. Notes:
These models arrived just after President's Day weekend from Aeroclassiccsdirect.com. The models were nicely packaged with generous amounts of packing peanuts. The order took about two weeks to process and arrive. There were no packaging issues with any of the individual models. Each airplane came in a typical; Aeroclassics 1/400 carton. Each model was secured in a plastic cradle and further supported with plastic sheets, and foam strips. There are a few production/QC issues that fall into the finishing/printing category. This is a good set overall.
