The Aeroclassics A320 mould is perhaps one of the most widely produced, and longest running castings still in production today. With well over 250 known runs, (and counting) you can bet that just about any regular 1/400 scale collector has crossed paths with at least one example. Since 2009, this tooling has been the canvas for dozens of classic, and modern representations, and this Aer Lingus A320, registered EI-CVA is proof of the endurance of the mould. Aer Lingus updated it's livery in 2019 and Aeroclassics jumped on the opportunity to get a modern A320 to market, for a closer look, read on.

National Airlines and flag carriers have long been an interest of mine, and one of my main criteria points when it comes to collecting. Air Namibia was the lone and longistanding flag carrier of the African nation, Namibia. The airline was founded in 1946, but it didn't become a serious pax carrier, or flag carrier until the late 1980's. The airline which was wholly owned by the Namibian government was shut down in 2021 after enduring years of financial turmoil. For a closer look, read on. 

AeroCaribe, which was a regional affiliate of the defunct Mexicana was an active carrier from 1972 until 2005. It was renamed Mexican Click as part of a company restructure between 2005 and 2008. Click eventually folded alongside it's parent company in 2010. While Click is known for its use of 717s, it was the DC-9 which replaced a fleet of Fokker 100's that ushered in the use of the well known T-tails. Having a DC-9 in 1/400 scale is important, and Aeroclassics delivers a beauty. For more, read on.

Aegean has been the flag-carrying airline of Greece since 2013 following the acquisition of Olympic Air. While Olympic Air, formerly Olympic Airlines, has gotten plenty of attention in 1/400 scale, Aegean Airlines has seen a scant few releases. In fact, before NG Models prioritized a number of modern airbus airframes (there have been 5 releases to date), only Phoenix Models has made a single 1/400 scale model representing A3's existence.
