Gemini Jets, Aer Lingus BAE-146: EI-CSL

As far as BAE-146 castings go, this is personal favorite. The Gemini version first saw circulation twice in 2006. It was used eleven (!) times in 2007, and five times in 2008. It has not been used or seen since then. This particular casting has a reputation as being a chronic tail-sitter which may explain why it's been shelved.

Gemini Jets, Aeromexico Travel MD-83: N848CH

Over the past decade, Gemini Jets has utilized its MD-8X tooling at a clip of about 1-3 models per year.

This MD-83, registered N848SH was originally produced by Gemini Jets in 2020, and was put on the market in September of that year. It features several mould upgrades, rolling gears, antennas, and tampography printing, that earlier MD-80's made by Gemini Jets have not had. The model also features some unique packaging. NG Models, Aer Lingus A321neo: EI-LRA

NG Models has not been shy about using their, or perhaps HYJLwings' A321neo casting. As of February 2025, there have been 63 different A321neos produced. This Aer Lingus example is the first of those 63 however. I own six of these, and each one is nice in its own right.

I'm not a huge fan of most Euro-white liveries, but there's something about this current scheme that is really sharp and refreshing. The mould itself is very modern and looks great in hand. This is a nice product from NG in all aspects. For a closer look, read on.

As long as NG Models use their 757 castings, I'll be running around trying to find a reason to buy them.

NG Models has taken a lot of heat for their selection over the past few years, but people so quickly forget that they take big swings at some very unique airplanes that don't always sell well. Perhaps the coming Panda Models A300 mould has been the catalyst for increased A300 production from Aeroclassics. By my count there have been about eight A300's released in the past 8-10 months, compared to just three from between 2022-2024. While the recent Panda products have shown great potential, the Aeroclassics casting remains the best, for now. That gave me a great opportunity to pick up a recent copy, this, Kuwait Airways reg. 9K-AHG. For more details and a closer look, read on.

Aeroclassics continues to be the 'lone wolf' in 1/400 scale when it comes to producing consistent and interesting 727-100's. Minus a random odd-ball Gemini/JC release here or there, there hasn't been any other player for well over a decade. While there are certain short-comings of many Aeroclassics castings, it's nice to have choices.
