This week saw some major news roll out midweek as Lionel announced that from June 20th forward, all Gold Line (ARC) diecast made going forward would have diecast chassis. Lionel Racing has been producing 1/64 scale race cars with diecast chassis for several years. It was a relatively quiet week in the world of 1/64 scale Nascar diecast. Fifteen races into the Cup season and Denny Hamlin has won his third race of the year. The Craftsman Truck series ran the support race this past weekend, and this week Nascar will bring the cup series to Mexico City for the first time in the modern era. This week was predictably quieter from Lionel Racing as the company has seemingly caught up from several of the tariff related delays. There were only seven announced 1/64 scale preorders this week, two of them were raced versions of the winning cars from Nashville. No Fords were announced this week. 23XL, Legacy M.C., and Trackhouse all get attention in the Standard Version category.
