If no one has told you yet, Connor Zilisch is a very good race car driver. Signing Zilisch to a development contract may have been one of the best moves Trackhouse Racing has ever made. With multiple wins in the Xfinity series this year already, Zilisch is already showing incredible promise. In preparation for his inevitable entrance into the Cup garage, Zilisch is running a handful of Cup races in 2025 with full support from Red Bull. For a full review of the 1/64 scale version of his Cup debut, read on.

Lionel Racing has been producing 1/64 scale race cars with diecast chassis for several years. But anyone who is used to buying these cars from the tracks, the shops, or at retail stores may have never realized because those cars have been made specifically for Circle B Diecast. With the announcement coming from Lionel this week that all future 'Gold Line' (ARC) 1/64s would come with diecast chassis, It seemed like a good time to do a comparison.

As far back as the early 90's and likely before then, Nascar diecast cars have been produced by a variety of companies and each one has certainly tried their hand at creating the most accurate (& cost effective) models as possible. Cars have worn different colored rims for years, and capturing that detail can make or break the way a replica reflects the real life version of the car they were made in the image of. Recent samples shown on social media proves this is an ongoing effort, for more, read on...

How does one properly honor the career of an all-time great? When years, and decades of racing excellence amount to one of the most storied drivers of all time, you go about things very carefully. Gordon's first full time season in the Nascar Cup series would be supported by Dupont, an automotive paint and finishing company. The name, and the colorful paint schemes they had would become synonymous with Gordon throughout his career, and what better way to honor and end that career than by celebrating the partnership. Ryan Blaney wasn't even alive when Kyle Petty and the Wood Brothers won the 1987 Coca-cola 600. But that doesn't mean his role in adding to the legacy of the longest running team in Nascar history is diminished. A few months before this awesome throwback livery graced the banks of Darlington, Blaney would secure his first career win, and the 99th overall for WBR. This car, no matter how magnificent would still represent a sour note on the season, for more, read on...

A 36th place finish in a wreck-filled, rained shortened summer time race isn't the only thing that this 2014 Chevy SS represents. This one-off paint scheme designed for the Nascar Salutes July 4th weekend was one of several special liveries that were on display for the Coke Zero 400. This red white and blue paint scheme is a nice variant to many of the Target cars from Larson's early career, for a closer look, read on...

The 2024 season was perhaps, one of the most important ever for single time Cup champion Brad Keselowski. After making a clean break from Team Penseke following the 2021 season to become a part owner at RFK, the question lingered for three long seasons. Can Brad still win? After an eventful day at Darlington the answer was a dramatic 'yes.' For more, read on...
