Raced Versions: This past week saw Christopher Bell win his first All Star race at North Wilkesboro speedway. Chandler Smith also was able to take advantage of a late race battle between Corey Heim and his teammate, Lane Riggs during the Craftsman Truck race the day before. Both of these cars are now available for preorder in 1/64 scale. Standard Liveries: Because of high profile races over the past few weeks, several special paint schemes have been announced. Several patriotic liveries related to the 'World 'Coke' 600,' are now available. Out of the four below, I think that Blaney or Briscoe's are going the best. Retroactive Pre-orders: With the conflict over trade tariffs settled for the time being, several cars that have raced in recent weeks are now also available for preorder as well. Highlights of this bunch have to be some of the spectacular paint schemes from 23XL, as well as some of the offerings from the smaller teams like Rick Ware Racing which rarely get the support in order for their cars to make it to production. This month also gives collectors their first opportunity to place an order for a Jesse Love Cup car in the RCR number 33. Also featured is a special livery for Jimmie Johnson's 700th start. Don't miss out! Xfinity: Several fresh offerings from the Xfinity series this week feature four Chevy's and a Ford Mustang. Two of the cars here are ones that Conner Zillisch will be racing in 2025 for JRM. There's also representation here for Jesse Love, Daniel Dye, and a more obscure 1/64 representing Mason Maggio, This is the second paint scheme offered this year for Daniel Dye. It's also the second Xfinity series offering for Jesse Love on the season, and the first 1/64 offering ever for Mason Maggio. Trucks: There's a new Silverado, and an F-150 up for preorder this week too. Daniel Hemric's McAnally Racing Silverado adorned with a special NAPA 100 paint scheme is the second representative for him this year joining a raced version of the truck he drove to a win at Martinsville. Also, Ben Rhodes gets his Thorsport F-150 sponsored by Tsport represented in 1/64 scale as well.
Notes:
With the trade issues between the United States and China seemingly resolved for the time being, Lionel has resumed normal operations at a more typical pace. With this week's flurry of announcements, there should be a more normal amount of preorder offerings in next week's edition of the Diecast Update!
