Taking a quick stroll past the cash register at the grocery store is always a bit whimsical when you're lucky enough to find a good casting on a mainline Hot Wheels car. Even at around $2 USD, it still feels like you're getting more than your money's worth if there's something on the pegs that's of any interest. 

Toyota Supra's little brother, the GR86 is fun and exciting. When Toyota and Subaru got together to collaborate on a this little 2+2 sports car, the GR86 (Toyota) and the BRZ (Subaru), was born. 

The car hit the market in 2012, and is still in production with heightened popularity still in 2025. While the re-born Supra has suffered criticism for it really being a BMW Z4, the GR86 has held the true adoration of Toyota loyalists. For a closer look at this HW version, read on...

I was recently able to secure a pair of Premium Hot Wheels from the Japan Historic line. These are two of five cars featured in series 4. Both of these cars will soon be up for a closer review, but they really are very nice in hand, and they deserve to showcased before being opened.

Between 2020 and 2023, the Corvette C8.R entered 57 World Endurance Championship races. Of those races, the car claimed 22 wins, 50 podiums, and 23 pole awards. The car has been piloted by racing legends such as Jordan Taylor, Nick Tandy, Antonio García, and Nick Catsburg. 

Now, gladly enough, the C8.R is featured in the Hot Wheels 2024 Premium lineup of 'Race Day.' The race car is number 2 of 5, and is probably the second best of the bunch. There's lots to like about this casting. For more, read on.
