Well, I've picked up my fourth 1/64 from the 2026 Nascar Cup season this week. The subject is Cole Custer's Haas Factory Team Chevy ZL1, sponsored by HaasTooling.com. The car is of course based on the new all-metal chassis which has also been updated to reflect the new nose on all the ZL1s across the Cup field. The No. 41 team is truly on an island these days, and while the team isn't competing for wins, they've been running well as of late. For a closer look at the only Haas F.T. car this year so far, read on...

Nascar first arrived at Indianapolis in 1994, and ever since the inaugural Brickyard 400, Nascar's history at the storied race track runs deep. Josh Berry's 2025 season began better than anyone could have hoped, with a huge win early in the year at Las Vegas, the entire 2025 season which also was the 75th anniversary of Wood Brother's racing was essentially icing on the cake. One of the best paint schemes of the season for the 21 car was this beautiful PPG scheme which hadn't been on a race car in some time. For a closer look, read on...

As the 2025 Cup season wound down, one of the best paint schemes  of the year for Shane Van Gisbergen was deployed at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Jockey has been an integral part of the success behind Trackhouse and while the race itself went poorly for the No. 88 team, the car they brought looked great and was a celebration of the New Zealander's mega success in 2025. This diecast was one of the first cars that Lionel distributed on the all-metal chassis which also has rubber wheels. Read on.

In 2023 I had the opportunity to attend the annual Front Row Motorsports 'Fan Day.' The race team opened up their shop to both fans and team partners in order to give back to Fan the opportunity to interact with the team, the drivers, and the race shop. I wrote about that experience on the Adventures in Racing Blog here. While I was there, I was able to get Todd Gilliland to sign this 1/64 copy of his 2022 First Phase 1/64 scale diecast replica. Hyak Motorsports has gone through some significant changes in the past few years. Formerly known as JTG Doughtery Racing and at one point, a two car team. Now rebranded as Hyak Motorsports, Ricky Stnehouse Jr. has continued to carry the banner there since 2020. In that span he's won a couple of races, and continues to attract interesting sponsors like Jack Links jerky. Jack Links continues to sponsor Stenhouse in 2026, but last year, a special one-off paint scheme debuted at Daytona. Read on...

Shortly after Kevin Harvick left Richard Childress Racing and joined Stewart Haas, (bringing powerhouse sponsor Anheuser-Busch with him), the company began to change their marketing tactics. Gone were the days of the omnipresent Budweiser car. The mega-brewer shifted their strategy to showcasing the more approachable and affordable, Busch and Busch Light brands. Seasonal themes transcended into how the product was marketed, and the Busch Fishing car was born, for a closer look, read on...

Most race fans have heard the name Corey Lajoie before, son of the storied Nascar two time Busch Series champion Randy Lajoie. But not many people may remember that Corey bet his children's college fund, on himself, that he would be able to race his way into the Daytona 500. In a partnership with Rick Ware Racing, and sponsorship from Take 5 Oil Change, Lajoie was miraculously able to race his way into the 500. For a closer look at the 1/54 scale version, read more here.

It's been a long time since a young driver has caused as much of a stir in the Cup series as Carson Hocevar has in his second year. After demonstrating noteworthy talent and speed as a rookie in 2024, the 2025 season will be one  where Hocevar was remembered as a constant belligerent who threatened to both win and wreck on any given weekend. The Zeigler Automotive Group has been dabbling in Nascar for several years. They've forged a strong relationship with Spire, and in 2025, they celebrated their 50th with this paint scheme.

2025 was a good year for Bubba Wallace. He matched his career best in wins, top 5s, and top 10s. He also led 378 laps on the season, the most of his career. Columbia has been a long time supporter of Bubba, even before he joined 23XL Racing. While Wallace is yet to bring Columbia to victory lane as a primary sponsor, they have been an integral part of his growth and success in 2025. Today's Photo of the Day takes a closer look at the primary Columbia scheme that Bubba Wallace raced twice in 2025 . For more, read on...

Dale Earnhardt Jr. has remained active in the Late Model Stock Car ZMax CARS Tour in 2025. With four races on his schedule, three of them were supported by Budweiser, and one was a continuation of what's been a fun and engaging campaign with Sun Drop soda. Dale Jr. brought his Sun Drop Chevy LMSC to Tri-County Motor Speedway on October 4th 2025. He qualified for the main even starting 24th, and was able to finish 12 on the day. Lionel developed their LMSC tooling late in 2022. For a closer look at this version from 2025, read on...
