Gold Line: Shane Van Gisbergen, 2025 Jockey Chevy

As the 2025 Cup season wound down, one of the best paint schemes  of the year for Shane Van Gisbergen was deployed at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Jockey has been an integral part of the success behind Trackhouse and while the race itself went poorly for the No. 88 team, the car they brought looked great and was a celebration of the New Zealander's mega success in 2025. This diecast was one of the first cars that Lionel distributed on the all-metal chassis which also has rubber wheels. Read on.

I've had the very fortunate opportunity in my life to have traveled to New Zealand. The importance of the black fern branch to that country and that culture is massive. To see Jockey embrace that concept and create a car that looked this amazing was something I'd been hoping for.  When the car was announced for Vegas last fall, and when Lionel announced their preorder, I had to get in line. Overall, I'm very pleased with the outcome, and while the car has some issues, it's a solid product that I'm happy to have in my collection.

SVG had a rough day in Las Vegas with the black fern Jockey Chevy however, and crashed out of the race on lap 245. This is the final diecast produced for SVG from the '25 season.
