The real thing: Corey Heim working the wheel at Dover in the spring of 2024, filling in Erik Jones during practice for the NASCAR Cup Series Würth 400. Photograph by Logan Riely/Getty Images. The Petty blue 43 used to be a full-seasons staple. You could count on the car, with its day-glow orange highlights, and 'STP badging to be starting the race. But over time, as the Pettys have withdrawn from NASCAR ownership roles, and as the STP brand has all but disappeared from the Cup circuit, this iconic look is more and more rare. The car beautifully replicates one of the most recognizable Richard Petty Motorsports livery meant to help celebrate 75 years in the sport. Notes:
Lionel executed will on this 1/64 scale diecast model. The new Camry's offer what can be a tricky nose section with several contour lines. Any offsetting of the decals will be very revealing. They did a nice job here, and this car, albeit one that Jones never really drove looks awesome.
