The real thing: Brad Keselowski in the turn at Martinsville during the 2024 Cook Out 400. Keselowski would qualify 13th, but after a long day was relegated to a 24th place finish. (Photograph courtesy of RFK Racing). The Fastenal Body Guard Mustang appeared in two races in 2024. It ran at Martinsville in April, and then Brad raced the orange and black paint scheme to a 21st place finish at Indianapolis after starting 26th. Fastenal is confirmed to run symbiotic paint schemes again in 2025 with all three RFK teams. Notes: Gladly, this 2024 diecast has far fewer issues compared to its number 17 counterpart. The paint and printing on this car is superb. I was really only able to identify a few areas where the detailing isn't level. The car does suffer from a slightly crooked chassis however which as I've mentioned many times before, is an issue with Lionel's Gen 7 casting and the fitting of the internal plastic components. A welcome addition for any Brad K., or RFK racing fan. Sources:
