The real thing: Josh Berry wheels his number 4 SHR Mustang around Texas Motor Speedway in April of 2024. (Photograph courtesy of TobyChristie.com). Berry would crash this car on lap 136 of the Autotrader Echopark Automotive 400. Berry had Miner (Docks, Doors, and More) on the car for two races in 2024. While the first outing was a disappointing 36th place finish as a result of a crash on lap 136 at Texas, his second race representing the brand was a season best 3rd place finish at New Hampshire. The 1/64 model below represents both a season hit, and a season low for the 2024 rookie. Notes:
This 1/64 scale model race car is situated on Lionel Racing's 1/64 EL 2024 Mustang casting. The car is well made and will likely earn a '9' on the detailed review rating scale. It is both a great looking livery on a well build model. The car is nicely made, it has good paint and printing details and minimal production issues. That car also has an enhanced significance as a Josh Berry rookie car.
