The real thing: Ross Chastain drives during qualifying before the Ally 400 at Nashville Speedway on June 25th, 2024. (Photograph Courtesy of Logan Riely/Getty Images) Trackhouse brought Jockey onboard the number 1 Chevy four times in 2022. Nashville was the first occasion, followed by Atlanta, Daytona, and Talladega respectively. Chastain finished second at Nashville, 5th at Atlanta, 4th at Talladega, and crash relegated a 33rd place finish at Daytona. Aside from being involved in that incident, the red, white, and blue Chevy ran statistically very well in 2022, and represents some of the newer sponsors entering the sport. Notes:
While Trackhouse did a great job executing the 1/1 version of the race car, there are some certain issues with the 1/64 reproduction. I'll be getting into those during the eventual detailed review.
