Gold Line: Shane van Gisbergen '2025 Red Bull' Chevy

A few weeks back I received a copy of Connor Zilisch's 2025 Red Bull Chevy. I've been eagerly awaiting the car's fleet mate in SVG's No. 88 Red Bull Chevy. That car has finally arrived. The car comes mounted on a plastic base, and I spent a few minutes last evening doing some minor surgery to free her from it. Now that the car can sit on four wheels, it seemed like a good time to take a few photos for the blog. SVG has run this scheme four times this year so far. Notes:
​It still doesn't seem real that Red Bull themed Next Gen Cup cars in 1/64 and 1/24 scale are just popping up all over the place. With the energy drink super brand bolstering support behind a couple of the most interesting drivers on the circuit this year, there's lots of opportunity for souvenir vendors. Shane's 1/64 miniature is a great rendition. The Lionel 1/64 2025 Chevy ZL1 mould is a nice one, but it's a good thing an upgrade is coming soon. The livery itself is a bit simple, but the red yellow and blue primary colors along with several white accents help this car pop on track. There are a few production errors, but the car holds its own.
