The real thing: Ty Gibbs drives his No. 54 SAIA Camry during practice before the Würth 400 at Texas Motor Speedway in May of 2025. (Photograph by Chris Gray/Getty Images). The 2024 Camry mould which didn't undergo any changes ahead of the 2025 season has been in use now for well over a year. That means that there shouldn't be any production issues as egregious as the decal application on this 54 car. There's nothing that spoils the experience of unboxing a new diecast car, just to see a hideous front end starting you back in the face. I wanted to add this car to the collection because SAIA made a big commitment to Nascar this year, and I actually don't mind the look of Ty's car. But under the microscope, the grill and leading edge of this Camry are really disappointing. I'd hoped to have some better things to say. The rest of the car is pretty good at least. Even though the Monster Energy logo is missing, the actual coloring and auxiliary sponsor logos are good. The car sits nicely on the table and avoids and wobbling. There's not much more to discuss with this one. Sources:
