The real thing: Shane Van Gisbergen, driver of the #16 Wendy’s Chevrolet, drives during the NASCAR Cup Series GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway on April 21, 2024 in Talladega, Alabama. (Photo courtesy of James Gilbert/Getty Images). Notes: This car was one of two different liveries that made it into production in 2024, the other being SVG's WeatherTech Chevy. I think the better of the two has to be the WeatherTech version. The issue is basically that the Wendy's livery just has too much going on. It seems that as race cars in real life are wearing more intricate wraps, that doesn't always translate well to 1/64 (or 1/24) scale. There are several graphic issues with the Wendy's Chevy that I'll be going over in the Detailed Review at a later time. It's nice to have more Kaulig cars making it into existence, but let's keep the quality up, eh? Sources:
